Ok, I already mentioned in the below post that your Furry Friends do a lot of cool new stuff when they are walking around the Condo. Well, I pulled out my Black Lab and our four-legged friends do a different version of the cute new stuff.

Happy Earth Day!

Lots of treats in store today for Earth Day. Visit Bearemy in Town Square and get a Green Recycle T-Shirt. Visit the Boutique and purchase a Green Recycle Shopping Bag for 100 Bear Bills. Both in celebration of Earth Day! Yay!

Also, when you are inside your Condo, your Furry Friend does so much more to keep you company. In the above picture my gator, Bruce, is eating a snack (apple). It is so darn cute. You can double-click on your friend and choose an action and/or your Friend will randomly do actions. So adorable!

Over the past week or two I have received a few more Furry Friends that I will be adding to my list shortly. Two of the friends I received is a Snake (Sir Hiss) and a Ostrich (Olivia) from the St. Louis Zoo. I have not inputted the Ostrich yet, but the Snake made me choose another Furry Friend in Build-A-Bearville. I chose the Ghost, since I have the actual doll, but I purchased it before the BABV codes were on the certificate.

I have to say, I am loving BABV more and more each day. I have came from playing Disney’s VMK (which they announced is closing on 5/21) and BABV is a nice substitute – and it looks like is growing! Now, I just have to worry about running out of stuff buy at the Build-A-Bear Workshop!

P.S. I forgot to say… A LOT of new furniture today as well!

Treasured Topaz Teddy & Others…

Friday, I went straight to my local Build-A-Bear Workshop and purchased the new Treasured Topaz Teddy. When I got home, I logged on to buildabearville.com and inputted the code for my bear.

Well, as soon as I inputted the code, it asked me to select a bear. So I had to choose the Topaz Teddy and of course – I did not get the Bear Bills or the Topaz Gem Wallpaper. I was able to complete the Quest Adventure, but it did not give me anything. It was just a blank box. So, I have e-mailed BABW and received this response:

We are aware of the issue and are currently working on it. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. If there is any reward that was not given to you where there should have been, please rest assured that we will ensure that this item gets in your account as soon as issue is fixed.

Still haven’t received the items in my inventory as of yet… we’ll see.

So, I had built a Chick and Pink Bunny last month. It was the weekend and the store was busy, so I did not print the birth certificates. Well, now that I’ve gotten into playing BABV, I want my certificates! So, the sales associate was able to give me two generic codes in the store so that I could create the certificates. I didn’t need anything, which was really nice – but I wonder how long this will last. I would have thought they would at least have wanted to see my “furry friends” and maybe even get the code inside, but they said that wasn’t necessary. Anyways, I’m happy that now I have my friends online as well as Pink Bunny Ears and the Yellow Furry Rug. Yay!

Dark Labrador Quest

I walked into Paw Park today and found somebody new – or at least I haven’t seen him before. Need to find 5 Black Lab Shadows. Here’s where I found mine:

1. Beach Cave
2. Farm
3. Neighborhood
4. Pawforming Arts Center
5. Furbulous Fashion District

It was actually easy to find these items – or maybe I’m just getting used to Build-A-Bearville. Find all the items and receive 500 Bear Bills.
